Green is the new black

We’re telling you, 2017 is going to be the year of green, and this January, what better way to start the year than with the colour of hope and luck! You may have noticed that your plate is getting greener and greener (that’s because of the overindulgence during the festive season), that plants are taking up more and more space in your living room and that the classic chino trousers you get every year at Christmas are green. Don’t worry, you’re on the right track, you’re on trend. You are the trend. And at Léon, we see nothing but beauty and positivity.
Green goes perfectly with black and grey.
Is it winter and your wardrobe is rather dark and classic? Thin green braces will be the elegant and refreshing touch of colour in your outfit. Whether worn with a dark grey suit or a black shirt, bottle green is always classy. This style can be worn in any situation, from a high-level meeting to St Patrick’s Day.

Green goes with everything.
And yes, the advantage of this colour is that it generally matches all the others. When choosing a suit or shirt, opt for natural tones such as brown, ochre, cream or taupe. When the match is right, the result is guaranteed! On the other hand, avoid the total ‘shades of green’ look, as it’s a very risky gamble and makes you more likely to be mistaken for a tree or, worse still, a bush.
We recommend the Croix Rousse thin braces and the Expert green wide braces!
Fashion note :
Mind you, if you’re going to the theatre, hide your braces! Green can sometimes be a sign of failure and misfortune. Molière is said to have died on stage wearing a garment of this colour.
